MenKuiTei on 56th just east of 6th Ave has the best Gyoza in town. The summer times brings cold rameni and broth, which supremely tasty.
The Ramen set with the small Chahani or curry rice is great deal. During peak hours, the turn around is fast, so don't expect to sit and chat. Cash only.
